The Amaranthine Heart on the Kindle market is a pretty amazing book. Although I still have a lot of reading to do, the first half has been pretty awesome. The coolest thing I noticed was that one of the places first spoken about in the book is Lumbertown which is one of the places new players in the game travel to soon after they leave the starting zone, Island of Dawn, and the city of Velika.

The Author, Bridget McKenna, has a very easy to understand writing style without the lack of details. It's easy to imagine the story like it's really happening. I have a virtual movie playing my head that's how easy it is to understand and comprehend the story.

These books on the Kindle market were originally $2.99 per copy, but now they are on sale for just $0.99 each. That's a steal, and for less than a dollar a piece, I'm going to purchase them all. The Amaranthine Heart is definitely one of the best books I have ever read.

The adventure begins...

Hail viewer! Today marks a glorious day in online adventure games. TERAble Gamers is our little group in the game, TERA. Enough with the small pleasantries let's get to chatting about the game itself, now keep in mind that this game came out of beta in NA on May 1st, 2012 so there will be slight bugs. So far my friend/ co-leader (yea that's right the guild is going to be run by 2 people) and I are off Beginner's Island and ready to take on this awesome new world. John and I use to roam in Azeroth (World of Warcraft's world basically) before finally realizing that TERA was vastly superior in every aspect. In TERA you control the character like an action rpg game on your Xbox 360 or PS3, you can even use one of their controllers on your PC to play the game lol how awesome is that? Now who wants to hear about the PvP? Oh, I see a few hands lol alright. The PvP or Player vs Player is very unique when it comes to MMORPGs. When a player kills another player, who is innocent, the murderer becomes an outlaw. For you see, the races of this world are united under 1 banner and the only PvP that is truly allowed is between guild fights or the classic duel in the streets. Outlaws might sound awesome like in the westerns, but the reality of it is they are not and far from it. In my personal opinion, if you have to kill afk players or kill lower level players to feel better about yourself then you need to pick on someone your own size (John and I pull our weapons out).
